Through the magic of Blu-ray High Definition, immerse yourself in the fantastic world of Walt Disney’s legendary masterpiece Pinocchio! Now with an all-new digital restoration and Disney Enhanced High Definition sound, the richly detailed animation, unforgettable award-winning music and adventure-filled story will dazzle your senses like never before.

Celebrate the 70th anniversary of the film that inspired millions to wish upon a star! Join Geppetto’s beloved puppet – with Jiminy Cricket as his guide – on a thrilling quest that tests Pinocchio’s bravery, loyalty, and honesty, virtues he must learn to become a real boy.

Can you belive that Pinocchio is 70 years old? That means it was already a classic when I first saw it. My kids had never seen it before, which made watching it with them a delightful treat. All three boys enjoyed it very much, laughing their way through the funny parts, and gasping at the trouble Pinocchio gets himself into.

Disney is showing good business sense in releasing this edition with both a Blu-ray disc and a regular DVD. We don’t have Blu-ray yet, but when our current DVD player dies, we will be getting one. A lot of people will be, I’m sure, and will be glad to buy a Blu-ray disc, if it also has a disc they can watch now.

Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Edition is available now on DVD. The 2-Disc 70th Anniversary Edition has two Blu-ray discs – one for the movie, and one that includes a ton of special features. The set also includes a regular DVD.

Hubby surprised me with this DVD the other day. Isn’t he the sweetest? It isn’t wonderful since it was one of my very first but here is my review for the VHS.
