Awaken your senses to the majesty of Sleeping Beauty, Walt Disney’s classic fairy tale. See more than you’ve ever seen before through the magic of state-of-the-art technology, and experience this groundbreaking film restored beyond its original brilliance, in the way Walt envisioned it - pristine, beautiful, utterly breathtaking. Sleeping Beauty will transform your home into a fantastic world your family will want to experience again and again.

When Natalie was younger, I had recorded Sleeping Beauty off the Disney Channel, but Malificent was just a little too freaky for her. Now, she’s almost past the princess age, but I’m still excited to share this movie with her. The best part of Sleeping Beauty is, of course, the three fairies. This DVD would make a perfect Christmas present for any little princesses in your life.

Besides being digitally restored with enhanced picture and sound, this two-disc edition is absolutely packed with special features: “Once Upon a Dream” Music Video - performed by Hannah Montana’s Emily Osment; Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough - a fully immersive virtual tour; All-New Enchanted Dance Game - with help from Aurora’s Forest Friends; a Never-Before-Seen Alternate Opening; deleted songs; all-new “Making of Sleeping Beauty;” and much more.

Sleeping Beauty: 50th Anniversary Edition is available now on DVD.

Sweetums wants this one. I’m a little surprised. Beauty and the Beast was the only one she ever wanted to watch!
