January 17th, 2008 at 7:58 pmBrandie – my 9-year-old has always been a reluctant reader of fiction. Non-fiction, he loves, but the Spiderwick books were the first novels that grabbed him and made him want to keep reading. For that, they have a very special place in my heart.
