Fun with Google
I have had dozens of hits in the last few weeks from people googling “what are the names of Barbie’s twelve dancing princesses” and variations thereof. When Natalie was watching the DVD (for the umpteenth time), I wrote them down so that no longer will you seekers be disappointed. Here they are:
Ashlynn
Blair
Courtney
Delia
Edaline
Fallon
Genevieve
Hadley
Ilah
Janessa
Kathleen
Lacey

October 21st, 2006 at 5:43 amHi, Carrie,
This is totally unrelated to Barbie’s twelve dancing princesses — I didn’t know she had any dancing princesses, let alone so many — but I was wondering if:
1) You’re familiar with the Cybils (http://www.cybils.com), the 2006 Children’s and YA Bloggers’ Literary Awards
2) You might be interested in helping select the winner in the non-fiction picture book category
If the answer to #2 is “yes,” please get in touch with me at chrisATchrisbartonDOTinfo, and I’ll provide more details.
Take care,
Chris
October 22nd, 2006 at 5:00 amHa, well I know them all by heart already as all I hear anymore is: Look at me I’m Ilah, Samantha is Hadley. Kela is Genevieve and Cassie is Courtney (because she’s always got her nose in a book.)
Kela want to be Blair now because she loves horses. :-p
Anyhow, I have watched the 12 princesses about 500 times now
But this is a good quick reference in case I forget
Thx!
October 23rd, 2006 at 7:38 amLawanda - how cute! Too bad we don’t live closer, Natalie would love to have all those girls to play with.
October 24th, 2006 at 7:36 amHa! Too funny. I’ve never had the opportunity to offer help to the people who find me by googling unusual terms. How could I answer “quilt patterns kids make snakes“?
October 27th, 2006 at 9:27 amKris - no kidding! I’m often sure that people don’t use quotes in their search terms. I may have all the words on my blog, but definitely not in some of the combinations people come up with!
