Egermeier’s is a family tradition over here. My parents were raised on it, my brothers and sisters and I were raised on it, and when my oldest has his first birthday my parents gave him a copy of his own.

Love, love, love The Scrambled States of America and Swallows and Amazons! The latter made me want to buy a sailboat for the kids. LOL

Jodi - I was raised on Egermeier’s, too - and I believe the book I’m using was actually my mom’s as a child. Good stuff lasts, doesn’t it? We’re enjoying Swallows and Amazons, though I sometime skim through all the sailing descriptions - we don’t know what most of the terms mean!
