Pics of Our Grand Adventure
I finally have pictures to share!
Here’s one of the kids on the ferry. I promise we were having a wonderful time, despite the scowl on my four-year-old Josiah’s (far left) face. Even though he has three older siblings who turn into hams when the camera comes out, he HATES having his picture taken. Here’s one on the ferry without him after I got tired of trying to get him to smile:
Left to right: my Noah, 8; my nephew Taggart, 5; my neice Tessa, 7; my Jonathan, 6; and my Natalie, 9.
Here are Tessa and Josiah inside the giant guitar at the Science Center, with Natalie strumming.
All of the kiddos inside a model of the space shuttle.
Here’s the kids at the tide pool – notice Natalie’s hands are safely outside the edge – no touching the slimy, slippery creatures for her!
Here they are in front of the Seattle Center fountain – complete with karate poses from Noah and Taggart.
Finally, a smile!
The next day, we went to the Naval Undersea Museum in Keyport. Here are the kids in naval uniform:
Man the torpedos!
Here’s Deb’s little guy, Tallon, at the helm:
It was such a wonderful trip!

Love the pictures! Thanks for sharing them!

July 11th, 2006 at 9:05 amThe first picture with Josiah and his scowl made me laugh–so cute, even in his picture taking frustration! It looks like fun was had by all!

July 12th, 2006 at 8:17 am[...] Our Grand Adventure, of course! In June, the kids and I visited my sister in the Seattle area and took day trips to the Pacific Science Center and the Keyport Naval Undersea Museum, not to mention the beach. [...]
